A visit to “The Shed”

On a recent trip to the Marvin Window Factory in Warroad, Minnesota I had the opportunity to get a private tour of Bob Marvin’s car collection at the famous “Shed” and meet Bob himself.  While at “The Shed” I got to see over 50 rare and vintage cars, including a 1967 Yenko Camaro, two Smokey Yunick Hemi Z-28’s, a Shelby GT 500 autographed by Carroll Shelby, and a 1960 Convertible Corvette with serial number one.  The car that brought back the best memories for me was a 1966 Pontiac GTO Convertible because I learned how to drive in a car of the same model and year.  Although the car I drove was rather beat up I always thought that it was one great looking car.  If you are into ’50 & ’60 American Iron I recommend a visit to “The Shed” even if it’s a thousand miles from nowhere.
