Holiday Shopping visit to Anthropologie

This past weekend I visited the ANTHROPOLOGIE Store in Greenvale on Glen Cove Road and came across a few interesting display strategies.  One of them was a geodesic dome which enclosed an area reserved for home furnishings and which worked very successfully in creating a distinct place in the store without disrupting circulation or the overall feel of the store.  It is one of the few recent uses of a geodesic domes that I can remember seeing.  On a smaller and less architectural scale the christmas trees created with 35mm slides were very successful as was the arch created with white globes (excuse the terrible photo).
