When I finally upgraded from my original iPhone (yes I bought an iPhone the weekend it came out and the used it for over three years) which I was reluctant to give up even though every body in my family had the an iPhone 4 I was shocked by the speed I have been missing out on. Even though I was happy with my original iPhone the camera was seriously lacking in quality so the camera on the iPhone 4 really made me happy.
I have had quite a bit of fun using the camera and adding apps to my phone like Photosynth by Microsoft which creates great panoramas or Instagram with all of it’s filters to Shoebox which catalogs your old pictures and allows them to be shared but when I came across Ben Syverson Mattebox I was blown away. I had seen many add-on lenses for the iPhone but did not feel that the cost was warranted given the controls available, but with Ben’s app the addition of a new lens will now make sense. I will not go into the specifics of Mattebox since the attached video explains it all very well. I am looking forward to trying out this new app. Feedback from other users would be much appreciated.
